January – March 2020

In a very wet and windy start to 2020 (more on that later) the focus was on the Annex, with the lime plastering well underway and a new door frame installed to the main room:

The wet weather and storms caused a few issues:

One of which was extensive tree damage, including one mature specimen that had to be felled mid-storm:

And, of course, the snow didn’t help!

In between all of the chaos, we did progress the drains and other services for the outbuildings:

And, of course, the garden kept ticking along, with an early first cut for the grass, a lot of branches to run through the chipper, a lot of weeding, some new raspberry canes, restocking of the wood store and even getting the potatoes in:

Not much to report inside the house – just a few door handles installed in the laundry.  Hopefully more to report next time!
