Robert’s digger got another workout this month, helping to clear the rest of the old tennis court, creating a new driveway and also lamb proofing the fence line to ensure our new plants survive the spring.
With the weather slightly on the damp side (including the road turning into a river) Mike spent some time knocking the bathrooms together, preparing for a new doorway for the en suite and getting the Rayburn disconnected.
The second half of the glasshouse foundation was completed as was the pointing of the garden wall that it joins onto.
Other groundworks underway include rebuilding the steps down to the back patio and starting the clearing of the soon-to-be seating area by Rex room.
We also managed to fit the chimney caps to one of the tallest stacks on a calm day:
